I am currently a Senior Scientist at the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and a Privatdozent (venia legendi) in Sociology at Goethe University Frankfurt. Until 2024, I was a Senior Scientist in Economic Sociology and Political Economy as well as the Coordinator of the "Economy-Work-Society" research area at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Goethe University Frankfurt.
I obtained my PhD as a Doctoral Fellow of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy. Prior to this, I coordinated the development of an interdisciplinary DFG Research Unit at the Institute of Sociology of Hamburg University.
My academic experience includes visiting fellowships at the Department of Social Sciences of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the CSI (Centre de Sociologie de l'Innovation) at Mines ParisTech.
